A trail of horror .....

The recent flood fury unleashed a trail of death & destruction, havoc & horror in the hapless lives of countless people. Their hearths and homes, standing crops and livestock all washed away leaving them literally in lurch. With the savings of a lifetime washed away these people are left with nothing but tears to fill their stomachs… Will only Government aid help these hapless people??? These questions will continue to plague everyone who has seen their plight… With a long ordeal before them over the coming time, despair over their future and helplessness at their plight… they look for a little assistance from other sources… You and Me… a helping hand that will support them to stand on their feet… Can WE let them down?

Standing mute testimony to the height of the flood, this electricity pole has hay meant for cattle fodder stuck to the wires
Even the gods were not spared in the fury of the floods. Still the temple is still half drowned five days later.
Saving of a life time all washed away… and all that’s left is damaged beyond redemption…
Students now wait for the sun to dry what ever is left of their books and papers....
Fertilizers stacked with hope for a healthy crop now lie unfit for use… reflecting the despair of the farmer.
“What will my family eat now? Will  tears fill our stomach?” Do we have an answer? A helping heart?
Provisions meant for the months to come now lie amid the slush totally wasted and washed out.
The deep slush on the roads and paths make it very difficult for anyone to reach their houses or fields. Nothing less than a dozer can help here!!!
The food stocks the year for and seeds for the fields now lie in the village outskirts as the stench of these soaked grains is causing nausea and other health problems.
Can anything be salvaged from this dwelling? Now where to?
This is the link road to the Villages from the NH7… how long before they are ready for Commuting
